Safety as Core Value
At the Roberts International Airport, safety is not just a priority — it is one of our core business functions. The Liberia Airport Authority is fully committed to implementing and maintaining a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) that ensures a safe operating environment for our management, employees, airlines, tenants, and business partners.
Our Safety Management System
The SMS at Roberts International Airport is a data-driven, business-oriented approach to managing safety. It integrates organizational structures, accountabilities, policies, and procedures designed to promote proactive and systematic safety management. This approach goes beyond conventional workplace health and safety by embedding safety into all aspects of airport operations. Through our SMS, we will:
1) Identify and Analyze safety hazards.
2) Take timely and effective actions to mitigate risk.
3) Continuously monitor safety performance and conduct regular assessments
4) strive for ongoing improvement in our operational processes
